About
I'm Maharshi S, a security engineer and systems developer focused on building reliable infrastructure and breaking insecure ones. I care deeply about software quality, simplicity, and the craft of security research.
My work spans both offensive and defensive security — from bug bounty hunting and vulnerability research to building full-stack Web3 applications and distributed systems. I believe the best engineers understand how systems fail, not just how they work.
When I'm not finding vulnerabilities or writing code, I write about what I've learned — hoping to make complex topics in distributed systems, web security, and blockchain infrastructure accessible to engineers earlier in their journey.
I'm currently exploring database internals, Raft consensus implementations, smart contract security, and building developer tools in Go and Python.
